There are many colonial building, shops, houses still remain in the city. The region hase numerous pre Angkorian and post Angkor ian sites. The most interesting temples are Wat Ek ( 11 century – Suryavarman 1) and Phnom Banan temple. |

Morning leave Battambang for Siem Reap ( 3 hours drive by car )
( Optional : take a speed boat from Battambang to Siem Reap 5 hours, along they way to Siem Reap is available to visit fishing village on Tonle Sap and seeing the birds century )
